STAGE 1, 2 & 3: Theater Kids Summer Workshop​​​​

This three-week Summer Workshop will culminate in Performances of a Music Theatre International Broadway Jr. hit musical, Honk Jr!  These productions will be performed at the Shore Country Day School in Beverly. Participants will learn about music, acting, dance and prop making.  Each participant will receive a Student Libretto/Vocal Book Show Kit to use and to keep. Group and/or Individual Acting, Vocal & Movement Instruction will be included as necessary.  There are no auditions necessary to attend the program.  All participants will be cast into the show!

Dates: August 3 - 7 and August 10 - 14 at Mitchell's Dance Studio.

August 17 - 21: Tech Week at Shore Country Day School in Beverly.

Time:  Stage 1: 9:00 - 4:00

            Stage 2: 9:00 - 12:00

            Stage 3: 1:00 - 4:00 

Ages:  Stage 1: Ages 5 - 13

            Stage 2: Ages 5 - 10

            Stage 3: Ages 10 - 13

Family/Friends Performances: Friday, August 21st at 6:00 pm, Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd at 1:00 pm at the Shore Country Day School in Beverly.

STAGE 1: Theater Kids Ages 5 - 13 

Monday - Friday (FULL DAY)  9:00 - 4:00 (August 3 - 7, 10 - 14 & 17 - 21) 

Stage 1 Theater Kids (Full Day) will offer kids the opportunity to learn, create and ultimately perform a Broadway Jr. Musical! Participants will experience rehearsing and combining music, acting, dance as well as assist in set design and prop making that will help create the show. At the end of the three week long program, they will perform three shows for their family & friends at the Shore Country Day School in Beverly.

 

STAGE 2: Theater Kids Ages 5 - 10 

Monday - Friday (MORNINGS) 9:00 - 12:00 (August 3 - 7, 10 - 14 & 17 - 21) 

Stage 2 Theater Kids (Mornings) will offer youngsters the opportunity to learn, create and ultimately perform a Broadway Jr. Musical! Participants will experience rehearsing and combining music, acting, dance as well as assist in set design and prop making that will help create the show. At the end of the three week long program, they will perform three shows for their family & friends at the Shore Country Day School in Beverly.

STAGE 3:  Theater Kids Ages 10 - 13

Monday - Friday (AFTERNOONS)  1:00 - 4:00 (August 3 - 7, 10 - 14 & 17 - 21)

Stage 3 Theater Kids (Afternoons) will offer teenagers the opportunity to learn, create and ultimately perform a Broadway Jr. Musical! Participants will experience rehearsing and combining music, acting, dance as well as assist in set design and prop making that will help create the show. At the end of the three week long program, they will perform three shows for their family & friends at the Shore Country Day School in Beverly.
