Musical in a Month!

STAGE 1, 2 & 3: Theater Kids Workshop

Stage 1 & 2 Theater Kids will offer youngsters the opportunity to create and ultimately perform their own Musical in a Month!  Participants will learn about music, acting, dance, set design and prop making. At the end of the month long workshop, they will perform the show for their family & friends.

​

Stage 3 Theater Kids will offer teenagers the opportunity to create, direct, choreograph and assist with the younger age kiddos to ultimately perform their very own Musical in a Month! Participants will learn about music direction, enhance their acting skills, create original choreography, set design and prop making. At the end of the month long workshop, they will perform a show for their family & friends.

Dates: March 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 (Sundays only)

Time:  Stage 1: 9:00 - 10:30

            Stage 2: 10:00 - 12:00

            Stage 3: 9:00 - 12:00 

Ages:  Stage 1: Ages 5 & 6

           Stage 2: Ages 7 - 10

           Stage 3: Ages 11- 13

Cost:  Stage 1: $100.00 **

           Stage 2: $125.00 **

Family/Friends Mini-Performance: Sunday, March 29th at noon.

STAGE 1:  Theater Kids Ages 5 & 6 

SUNDAY 9:00 - 10:30 

Participants will be their own actor, director and producer as they create their own musical. They will learn basic acting, dancing and singing skills along with learning the ins and outs of what it takes to make a show happen. They will create their own sets, props and costumes. As a group, they will collectively perform their show for their family and friends. 

 

STAGE 2: Theater Kids Ages 7, 8, 9 & 10 

SUNDAY 10:00 - 12:00 

Participants will be their own actor, director and producer as they create their own musical. They will enhance their acting, dancing and singing techniques to the next level combined with learning the ins and outs of what it takes to make a show great. They will be in charge of creating the concept of the set design, props and costumes. As a group, they will collectively perform their show for their family and friends.

STAGE 3: Theater Kids Ages 11, 12 & 13 

SUNDAY 9:00 - 12:00 

Participants will be their own actor, director and producer as they create their own musical. They will enhance their individual acting, dancing and singing techniques to the next level combined with directing, choreographing and stage management. They will be in charge of creating the concept of the set design, props and costumes and act as role models for the younger students. As a group, they will collectively perform their show for their family and friends.
